		<description>SABC is absollutly not free though it is claiming to be.for startes the TV licences.some people may augue that tv licences are cheep and only paid once a year but my aurgument is that a free thing is the one which one doesn"t even pop out not even a single cent.</description>

I know that sounds like a *bad thing* for the consumer, but hear me out:

The UHF radio spectrum they're hogging with TV channels could be re-used to provide cost-effective wireless last-mile Internet access (especially in lower density rural areas).

Terrestrial broadcast television is not necessarily the most efficient use of radio spectrum. Consider the potential of the Internet to deliver information and entertainment that is interactive rather than passive...</description>
